I
am a firm believer that everything happens in life for a reason. I’ve always
been motivated by some art form whether it was poetry, drawing, crocheting or
macramé just to name a few. To be able to articulate my creativity in the
form of polymer clay jewelry for both men and women is truly a labor of love.
Each piece is carefully hand-crafted and one of a kind. I have been inspired by
my life’s journey, cultivated by spiritual and divine means.
While
drafting my profile for the gallery I was inclined to share how my creative inspiration
with polymer clay has evolved over time. The decline of my late husband’s
health over the last few years infused me with a passion for a creative and therapeutic
way to direct my energy. The purely accidental discovery of polymer clay for me
came at a time when I needed to devote more time to my husbands needs and could
share with him my accomplishments. He was my muse. My husband remains at the center
of my creative inspiration.
As a native of Colorado, I eventually
made Ohio my home for the last 35 years, 27 of those in a career as an insurance
professional. I am blessed with wonderful memories of my husband, surrounded by
supportive friends, family and mentors and now it’s my turn to give back
in the form of what I can only call a true gift of providential intervention.
